Julian Earl Baker, Jr., 47 died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1992.
Born in Lancaster, Mr. Baker was a son of Julian Earl and Nan Bell Baker, Sr. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and was president of Sign Crafters.
Surviving are widow, Mrs. LaRue Ghent Baker; two sons, Julian E. Baker III and Lyle Baker, both of Lancaster; parents of Lancaster; two brothers, David Baker and Mark Baker both of Lancaster; and two sisters, Mrs. Mickey (Maureen) Plyler and Ms. LuAnne Ellison, both of Columbia.
Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at The Chapel of Cauthen Funeral Home by the Rev. William Dysard.
The family will receive friends at Cauthen Funeral Home following the services.

"Julian Baker was a good-looking and fun loving person. His daddy ran the sign company and he worked with him. He was fun to be around and always sweet to me. He married Larue Ghent. They had 2 boys. Julian died of a heart attack."
